“That Vibe” is the first single from Koresma and Matt May’s upcoming collaborative EP called “Set Us Free”. The lush and soulful tune serves as a solid introduction into the unique blend of sounds the producers make when working together. The producers met while both living in Asheville, NC through a local music series called Beat Life. After creating a series of ideas in Asheville, both Koresma and Matt May relocated to California in summer of 2019, Koresma in LA and Matt May in the San Francisco Bay area. Over the course of the next year the producers would link up between the two cities to hone in the sounds of the “Set Us Free” EP. While Koresma and Matt May never meant for the EP to have so much significance in the title, after living amidst lockdowns and a global pandemic, “Set Us Free” couldn’t be a more relevant.
